Nova SP is located on the border of the Payne Phalen neighborhood. Payne Avenue is well known for its exceptional restaurants (Tongue in Cheek, Cook Saint Paul, Brunson's Pub) winning the 2014 Pioneer Munch Madness contest for best dining district in St. Paul. The east side of Saint Paul overlooks downtown and the Mississippi River, making for beautiful views.
The neighborhood is a great place to get out and have fun, with CHS Field (home of the Saint Paul Saints baseball team), the downtown Saint Paul Farmers Market, and the Lowertown scene all just over one mile away from Nova SP. Multiple major employers are located in downtown Saint Paul as well.
Nova SP is a connected location with a strong walkability factor and bikeability with direct connection to the Bruce Vento Regional Trail, an 8 mile paved trail for biking, running/walking, inline skating or cross country skiing. The trail starts in downtown Saint Paul and extends to White Bear Lake. Public transit is available at the front door with a high frequency bus route running on Payne Avenue to downtown Saint Paul and the Maplewood Regional Mall.
The Payne Phalen neighborhood is a strong community with abundant resources such as the Arlington Hills Community Center and Library and the Saint Paul Eastside YMCA (1/2 mile from Nova SP). Educational opportunities abound for all ages in the community. JA Johnson Elementary, Hope Academy (Saint Paul’s first Hmong-run school), City Academy (the nation’s first charter school), and Farnsworth Aerospace Academy Magnet School are all within walking distance of Nova SP, while Metropolitan State University is one mile away.
